Where was I

Posting isn't a habit quite yet. Even quilting isn't, I just sew alot.

I've set a goal to quilt 2 flimsies a week. I'm averaging that. Considering autumn is a favorite season and it's been glorious here this year I'm pretty satisfied with what I've  quilted on cooler or rainy days.

Here's the latest. Both flimsies were finished recently and both are going to the church ladies to be bound.

I was challenged to use my pastels. This is as pastel as I have. I don't particularly like them real light which of course I would then use as  background in the design.

Lisa started this green quilt for a quilt with  bigger blocks,  over 20 years ago. A green binding will finish it nicely. I'm a little tired of green. There are several in the works here right now.

The block here goes by several names. I call it either Puss-in-the-corner, or Un-even. 9-patch. I'm sure there are other names. I like the simplicity.

In mid-September I started marking the calendar whenever I finished the quilting on a top. I love the visual. Surprisingly it's motivating. The different colors are fun too.  Later today I will be coloring in another for Nov. 1st.  Yay.
