Quilted this one snowy day recently. I think I finished the top about a year ago. A ruler kept the lines mostly straight. I like it so may bind it and keep it around a while.
I like simple basic quilting and straight lines on quilts with Civil War fabrics. Adds to the authentic look. Though it should have more quilting for that.
I finished the 8 stars and made 4 more. I think I'll pass these on to the ladies in the church group to finish up the top. They can surprise me with what setting and border they choose.
These stars barely made a dent in the bag of triangles. So I'm gonna keep sewing when I get phone calls.
