Uneven 9-patches
It didn't take long to make these blocks for the next step of the mystery quilt I'm working on. I'm thinking I shoulda been smart enough to predict this outcome. Of course, it isn't finished yet so maybe I should refrain from expressing an opinion till it's further along.
I also finished the quilting on the 9-patch comfort quilt. As I suspected, I was a bit rusty. I hope I can put a little more time on that machine now that it is cooling off outside. Once Mark retires I suspect I will be spending lots of time hiding working in the studio. Time will tell.

My hubby retired first. I retired nearly 2 years ago. I thought I'd get lots of sewing done - work on all those quilts in my head, use the fabrics I've been collecting for years. Mostly, though, I take care of him - trips to doctors, stores, etc. because he doesn't drive any more - and grandchildren. Would certainly like for someone to tell me how to be more productive with my sewing and quilting!
Ouch! Gee Kadyb, Sorry to hear that. Can't you tell them that you have to do your therapy? My family knows that if mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. But then, I am happy to help them. Wish I could help.
